I HAVE A DATE AND I’M NOT REALLY SURE WHAT TO WEAR. WE ARE GOING TO DINNER, BUT HE DIDN’T GIVE ME ANY OTHER INFORMATION. I DON’T WANT TO LOOK OVERDRESSED, BUT I ALSO DON’T WANT TO LOOK TOO CASUAL. ANY THOUGHTS?

In a situation like this, I like to take a cue from the likes of Audrey Hepburn, who always looked flawless, no matter what the occasion. Keep your outfit chic and simple and you will fit in anywhere. You can’t go wrong with the LBD (little black dress)!! No matter what your size, there is something for you. Speigel and Newport News (through their catalogues or online) carry a line called Shape FX, which flatters all shapes and sizes with camouflaging contours. There is no reason to look frumpy anymore. Balance out your ensemble with either a strappy sandal or high boots. One piece of jewelry, either a statement necklace or large earrings, will play beautifully against a solid dress. Have fun!!!

When you dress for any occassion and you love what you have on then your day or evening always goes well. I do agree that picking out attire for yourself can be critical but you know how you feel when you try something on and it is just right. This article is perfect and I agree with what susan is trying to accomplish. love it!
